Homeless are hardly aware of the dangers of Coronavirus and the ways to fight against it. The current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to spread, with a growing number of confirmed cases in India. This makes lakhs of homeless people living on the streets with a lack of ability to self- quarantine, and with a lack of access to medical care acutely vulnerable.
As the crisis around the COVID-19 pandemic grows, the livelihoods of a large number of families surviving on daily wages have been shaken up. Zomato: Feeding India has initiated the ‘Feed the Daily Wager’ project to provide food support to such families and to help them have a reliable supply of meals in the absence of employment opportunities.
As India fights the global COVID-19 pandemic, there are millions of poor Indians who don’t have access to soaps, sanitisers and masks. The number of confirmed cases is on a steady rise and the death toll is gradually increasing.

To contain the spread of the virus, the crucial step is to maintain the required hygiene standards. Hygiene kits are all it takes to help thousands of poor families, abandoned elderlies, urban slum dwellers, poor cancer patients and many others in need. Help India fight Coronavirus. UMEED
Our goal is to immediately help the 12000 hungry families and 3000+ homeless families struggling for their basic survival during the pandemic and lockdown caused by CORONAVIRUS. We give Immediate Relief by providing the families with enough relief kits for survival and means for social distancing to prevent major COVID-19 outbreak as directed by the government. These families are now left with no homes, jobs, and funds for basic survival - food, shelter, sanitation, medicine and Coronavirus precautions.
Rasoi on Wheels
Rasoi On Wheels, as the name suggests, is a mobile kitchen service that is providing healthy, nutritious, tasty, wholesome, hygienic packed meal boxes that are served to the less privileged section of our society.
These meal boxes are ideally suited for distribution amongst the needy at vantage places like slums, orphanages, old age homes, schools, hospitals & many other places since the hungry & less privileged are everywhere.
Goonj - Rahat COVID-19
A large number of daily wagers are out of jobs and are trying to return to their villages. Many others are stuck in cities with few if any resources.
Goonj is gearing up for the aftermath of this pandemic... (extent and timeline not clear but getting ready) apart from reaching out to people as per situations and regulations right now.
